Items We Are Praying For at the Rescue Mission of Salt Lake

Yes Folks, We Need Your Help!

Your prayers for the following items are greatly appreciated:

*Special Requests -

1) We are in need of your throw-away clothes - the ones that you have either out-grown (hopefully in height and not girth) or that you no longer wear. At this time we especially need men's underwear and socks. The underwear and socks you donate can be used but they must be clean. We are also in need of men's pants, shirts and shoes.

2) Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we open our doors for anyone who needs a shower and a shave. After our guests have showered and shaved we like to set them up with a clean set of clothes. It is sad to see people have to put on their same dirty old clothes after they have showered here. In light of the Mission's needs we ask that you consider holding a clothing drive at your church. We offer you our 10 step plan for organizing a clothing drive.

Special Needs and Prayer Requests

  • Prayer for men and women on the New Life recovery program.

As a non-profit that exists on donations, the Rescue Mission of Salt Lake is constantly searching for different items. We thank everyone who has donated coffee, clothes and other items that we have been struggling to provide to our guests.

Some things we are always in need of

  • Razors
  • Shampoo
  • Men's Underwear and Socks

NOTE: We do not need used appliances or furniture - please consider giving these items to the Salvation Army or DI.
