New Life Recovery Program
The heart of the Rescue Mission is the 13-month New Life Program.
This free Bible-based program is for homeless men and women who struggle with
addictions to drugs, alcohol, pornography, gambling, and other
life-defining challenges. Through one-on-one counseling,
group recovery sessions, Bible study, work therapy, and
other support people can be set free from addiction.
With addiction kicked, people can succeed in employment,
secure stable housing, and rebuild relationships with
family and loved ones. It’s a life-changing program
that produces real results.
Transitions
For those experiencing homelessness
who are not in need of a comprehensive
recovery program, our Transitions Program
provides stability and a pathway off the
streets and into housing and employment.
During this program, those experiencing
temporary homelessness can stay at
Rescue Mission for three to four months
as we work with them to secure
employment, save money, and get
into housing while keeping a
positive support system
Locations
While based in Salt Lake, the Rescue Mission now has outreach locations across the Wasatch Front where we offer Christ-centered programs and services to help men, women, and children escape hunger, homelessness, and addictions.
Emergency Services
Hope can begin with a meal. So, we are here 24/7/365 to provide hot meals, safe shelter, clean clothes, warm showers, and love. Beyond meeting basic physical needs, we provide daily Bible studies, faith-based recovery meetings, a nightly chapel service,
mail reception, baggage check, phone messages and more for
our homeless friends. For the working poor we provide
family food boxes, brown-bag lunches and more.
