Our Mission
Ending Homelessness and Restoring Lives in the name of Jesus Christ.
Our Vision
To be the most effective life-changing ministry in Utah that serves the homeless, indigent, and poor by providing services that meet spiritual, physical, emotional, educational, social, and mental wholeness needs through the love and power of Jesus Christ.
Statement of Faith
- We believe the Holy Bible (66 canonized books/letters) to be inspired by the Holy Spirit, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21).
- We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1, Exodus 3:14; 6:2-3; 15:11; 20:1-17, Deuteronomy 6:4-5, Isaiah 37:16; 43:3; 43:10-13, Jeremiah 10:10, Mark 1:9-11. John 4:24; 5:26-27; 14:6-13; 17:1-8, Second Corinthians 13:14, Colossians 1:15-20).
- We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood on the cross and was buried, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory (John 5:39; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Corinthians 15:4; Acts 2:9-11).
- We believe that mankind was created in the image of God, holy and innocent; that of their own choice they sinned and as result, brought death upon all humanity (Romans 3:23, 5:12, and 6:23). Those who are not saved from sin are eternally separated from God (John 3:18).
- We believe that we are saved by grace through faith, apart from works, that all are sinners and fall short of the glory of God, and that all sinners who repent and personally accept the finished work of Christ on the cross become children of God. That those who are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ are new creatures in Christ and have the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 2:8, 9; John 1:12; 2 Corinthians 5:17; John 14:17).
- We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again for His church and to establish His kingdom. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the saved unto resurrection of eternal life and the lost unto resurrection of eternal damnation (John 14:3; Titus 1:13; I Thessalonians 5:16,17; Revelation 20:6; 20:14,15; 22:1-5).
- We believe that the term marriage has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture (Genesis 2:18–25). We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other (1 Corinthians 6:18, 7:2–5; Hebrews 13:4). We believe that God’s command is that there be no sexual intimacy outside of or apart from marriage between a man and a woman. We believe that God wonderfully foreordained and immutably created each person as either male or female in conformity with their biological sex. These two distinct yet complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God (Genesis 1:26–27
- We believe that through preaching, teaching and ministering the Word of God, this Rescue Ministry must use all of its resources and activities to share the Gospel and demonstrate Gods love to hurting men, women and children. That these individuals may have victory over sin and come into fellowship with God and live a Spirit-filled, fruitful life in Christ (Romans 10:1-15, Ephesians 4:17-24; 5:15-21).
